Support Ministries are a vital part of YWAM Amsterdam! Some people call Support Ministries the backbone of our mission. God has blessed some people with administrative skills or creativity in graphic design. Whatever skills God has given you, please prayerfully consider joining one of our Support Ministries.
Human Resources
- Personnel
This ministry is the gateway into our mission, generally we have first contact with all incoming staff and volunteers. We handle the application process, visas for people coming from other nations, insurance, as well as other practical needs of the staff.
- The Living Tree Centre
The Living Tree Centre is the Staff Development and Pastoral Care department of the base. Our role on the base is to provide on- going emotional, spiritual and practical care for the staff while they are here serving on the base in Amsterdam. That includes mentoring, accountability groups, focus groups as well as resources that will enable them to stay in missions.
Communications
Good communication serves individuals. The target of our ministry is establishing dynamic and effective communication throughout YWAM Amsterdam; this will serve the base, YWAM Netherlands, YWAM International & the larger body of Christ so that the gospel story can transform nations. We handle the website, quarterly newsletters, internal/external communication, design work, etc.
Accounting
Vision: Analyze, present and report financial information of YWAM Amsterdam, which enable the organization to look toward the future into where to invest and how to spend.
Objetive: Establish the necessary controls to ensure that accounting transactions are conducted in accordance with the laws, in a timely and appropriate for the preparation of financial statements of YWAM Amsterdam.
