DTS Department

The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is an intensive discipleship course, focused on missions, that encourages students in personal character development, cultivating their relationship with God and identifying their unique gifts and callings. Every year, thousands of people do a DTS at various YWAM locations worldwide. Most say it has radically changed their lives and helped them to get to know God in a deep and personal way. The DTS consists of a 12 week lecture phase in Amsterdam and an outreach in another part of the world.
‘To know God and make Him known’ is the main goal of the DTS. Emphasis is not so much on knowledge gained as on principles applied; not on information but transformation; not on heads filled with facts but hearts filled with faith. Global awareness is a special emphasis throughout the course, preparing the students to answer Christ’s call to “Go into all the world and disciple all nations.” (Matthew 28:19).
The DTS Department facilitates running and staffing these schools, usually having 3-4 schools per year. If you are interested in joining the DTS Department, you can inquire here
